RadioPopper
I've been spending my time these last few days hanging out at WPPI in Vegas and finally got to meet up with Kevin King, creator of Radiopopper. Kevin is a pretty rockin photographer and an awesome entrepreneur as well!
Kevin let me play around a bit with this killer device and he even told me that I may be able to get my hands on a set pretty soon so I can experiment with them at my next wedding on the 29th. I hope to be doing some killer testing on this device as I just may have a new weapon to my arsenal! r....I fired this baby off TTL at 1/8000 at 1.4...(i'll have to get Kevin to send me a few of those shots to post here as I was using his camera for the quick test).
I'll keep you posted on my results...keep an eye on this guy, radio popper may be a big friend of FF very soon!

Hey Matt, was great to run into you as I enjoy your blog here. I think I was there when this picture was taken. Can't wait to play with these! Thanks for your great blog!
note that the transmitter is on the camera matt is holding. note also that neither one of these guys took the picture. yes, it's an appalling picture, but taken by someone else (apparently).
i wish they'd hurry up on the popper jrs. i have little need for these fancy TTL shenanigans. but 2000 feet of transmitter range, THAT i could use.
easy easy..... we shot this with our trusty canon point and shoot camera :) no ff qualities for ya at this point....

looks like he's pointing the flash to his head...and the flash didn't go off... what's up with that?

Go figure the irony in the image above . . . . A flavor-less image featuring both K-popper and M-flavor! Ashamed the 2 of you should be (ya hear the Yoda in that'n).
